Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how My Trading ("My Trading", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the application. My Trading is a free point-of-sale (POS), inventory, sales, purchasing, and shop-management application intended primarily for general trading shops. The App is designed to operate offline-first, with business information stored locally on the user's device.
1. Information You Enter Into the App
Depending on how you use the App, locally stored records may include:
- Product names, descriptions, prices, quantities, stock levels, barcodes, units, and conversion factors
- Purchases, sales, sale voids, payments, discounts, and transaction details
- Customer names, contact details, notes, ledger transactions, and balances
- Supplier names, contact details, notes, ledger transactions, and balances
- Shift information and cash reconciliation details
- Reports, backups, exports, and other information you voluntarily enter
2. Local Storage
My Trading is designed to store business information locally on your device using the App's local database and device storage. Your business records are not intended to be automatically uploaded to a server operated by the developer.
3. No Developer Access to Your Business Data
Because your business information is stored locally on your device, the developer generally does not have access to it. The developer cannot normally view, retrieve, restore, or recover your locally stored customers, suppliers, products, sales, purchases, balances, inventory, cash reconciliation records, or other business data.
4. Internet Connectivity
My Trading is designed to provide its primary business functionality without requiring an internet connection or online account. If future versions add network-based features, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.
5. Barcode Scanning
The App may use your device camera to scan product barcodes. Camera access is used for barcode scanning functionality. The developer does not intentionally upload camera images or scanned barcode information to its servers.
6. Bluetooth Thermal Printing
When you choose to print a receipt, information needed to create the receipt may be transmitted from your device to the selected Bluetooth thermal printer. This may include product names, quantities, prices, discounts, totals, and transaction-related information. The developer does not receive a copy of the information sent to your printer.
7. PDF and CSV Exports
The App may allow you to export business records in PDF, CSV, or similar formats. Exported files may contain customer, supplier, product, sales, purchase, inventory, or financial information. Once you share an exported file with another application, person, service, or platform, that third party may process it under its own terms and privacy practices.
8. Backups
You are solely responsible for creating backups, storing them securely, and verifying that they remain accessible and usable. The developer does not guarantee that a backup will always be complete, available, compatible, or restorable.
9. Data Loss
Data loss
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer accepts no responsibility or liability for the loss, corruption, deletion, alteration, or inability to access data stored in the App.
Data may be lost due to device failure, storage failure, database corruption, accidental deletion, application errors, operating system changes, device loss or theft, factory reset, uninstallation, user error, failed backups, hardware failure, or other unforeseen circumstances. You should never rely on the App as the sole copy of important business records.
10. Personal Information of Customers and Suppliers
You are responsible for deciding what customer or supplier information you enter into the App and for ensuring that your collection, storage, and use of that information complies with applicable laws and regulations.
11. Financial and Business Information
My Trading is a business management tool and is not a financial institution, accounting firm, tax advisor, legal service, or professional financial adviser. You are responsible for independently verifying important business and financial records.
12. Third-Party Applications and Services
My Trading may interact with third-party software or hardware when you use features such as Bluetooth printing, barcode scanning, file sharing, PDF viewing, spreadsheet viewing, or backup storage. The developer does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, compatibility, or operation of such third parties.
13. Analytics, Advertising, and Selling of Data
My Trading does not sell your locally stored business records or customer information to third parties and does not intentionally use your locally stored customer, supplier, inventory, sales, or purchase records for advertising. If future versions introduce analytics, advertising, cloud synchronization, or similar services, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.
14. Children's Privacy
My Trading is a business application and is not specifically directed toward children. The App does not intentionally collect children's personal information through a developer-operated online service.
15. Data Security
No electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, controlling access to it, and securely storing backups and exported files.
16. Your Responsibility for Data
You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered into the App, protection of your device, creation and safekeeping of backups, verification of important records, compliance with applicable laws, and deciding who may access your device or exported files.
17. No Guarantee of Data Recovery
The developer does not provide a data recovery service and may have no technical ability to recover lost, deleted, corrupted, or inaccessible information stored locally on your device.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, applicable laws, security practices, or data handling. The updated policy will include a revised effective date.
