Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 1st, 2025
eUnits Tracker ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is stored and managed within the App, and clarifies your rights and responsibilities as a user.
1. Information We Collect
- The App allows you to manually enter electricity meter readings.
- These readings are stored only on your device's internal storage.
- The App may also store supporting information, such as dates of readings and calculated results (total units consumed).
- No personally identifiable information (PII) such as name, email, location, or contact details is collected.
2. How We Use Your Information
- The stored data is used solely for calculation purposes (to determine electricity consumption over a period of time).
- Data is not used for advertising, analytics, or tracking of any kind.
- The App does not run background data collection processes.
3. Data Storage and Security
- All data is saved locally on your device.
- The App does not use cloud storage, external servers, or online backups.
- Since data never leaves your device, you have full control over your information.
- We recommend that you maintain regular backups of your device to avoid accidental data loss.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
- The App does not share, sell, rent, or disclose any information to third parties.
- No third-party analytics, tracking tools, or advertising SDKs are integrated into the App.
- Your usage remains completely private.
5. User Responsibility
- As all data is stored locally, you are solely responsible for the safety and security of your device and the information within the App.
- If your device is lost, stolen, or damaged, the developer cannot recover your data.
- The developer does not provide cloud backup, data migration, or data restoration services.
6. Disclaimer of Liability
- The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.
- The developer shall not be held liable for:
- Data loss, corruption, or deletion.
- Incorrect calculations due to wrong input.
- Any damages, financial or otherwise, arising from use of the App.
- By using the App, you agree that the developer holds no obligation or responsibility for any unfortunate event linked to the App's use.
7. Children's Privacy
The App does not target children and does not knowingly collect any information from users under the age of 13. Since the App contains no external data collection, it is safe for general use.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
The developer may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any updates will be posted on the App's Google Play Store listing or within the App itself. Continued use of the App after policy changes implies acceptance of the revised terms.

Terms of Use
Effective Date: September 1st, 2025
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of eUnits Tracker ("the App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, opening, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by the App's Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must stop using the App and uninstall it.
2. Free Application
The App is provided free of charge. The developer may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature, or remove the App entirely, at any time and without notice.
3. Purpose of the App
The App is a simple utility for recording electricity meter readings and calculating the units consumed between them. The App is a record-keeping aid only and is not an official utility statement, billing system, or billing authority.
4. User Responsibility
- You are responsible for entering readings accurately and for verifying each value against your physical meter before saving it.
- You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for the accuracy of the information stored on it.
- You must use the App only in accordance with applicable law and your electricity provider's terms.
- You must not reverse engineer, modify, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
5. Accuracy of Readings and Calculations
- The App calculates the difference between consecutive readings. Results depend entirely on the readings you enter.
- Rounded, estimated, estimated-average, or incorrect readings will produce inaccurate results.
- The developer does not verify, validate, or correct readings entered by you, and the App does not read your meter directly.
- You should confirm the current reading with your utility provider before relying on any figure for billing, budgeting, or dispute purposes.
6. Data Loss
Data is stored only on your device. The developer has no access to it and cannot recover it. Data may be permanently lost as a result of device damage or failure, loss or theft of the device, accidental deletion, uninstallation of the App, an operating system failure or reset, storage failure, device replacement or factory reset, or software errors.
7. No Data Recovery Obligation
The developer does not provide cloud backup, data migration, or data restoration services, and has no obligation or responsibility to recover lost data. You should maintain your own manual records of meter readings as a safeguard.
8. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations will be accurate or complete.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the App or its use. This includes, without limitation, incorrect calculations, data loss, corruption, or deletion, reliance on readings or figures shown in the App, and any utility bill, charge, or dispute resulting from such reliance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate third-party analytics, tracking tools, advertising SDKs, or cloud services. Your device operating system, manufacturer, and app store remain third parties whose terms also apply to you.
11. App Changes and Availability
The developer may update the App to add features, fix defects, or address security issues. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time. The App may be discontinued at any time, and no guarantee is given regarding continued availability or support.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. These Terms terminate automatically if you breach them. Upon termination, all data stored on your device is deleted when the App is uninstalled and the developer has no responsibility for it.
13. Changes to These Terms
The developer may update these Terms from time to time. Any update will be reflected by revising the "Effective Date" at the beginning of this document. Continued use of the App after changes are published implies acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
15. Contact
